A very good composition of line and color. I can't decide if the last "panel" with the AC unit is a distraction or not. What do you think? I've put my hand over it and left it as-is, and I'm not quite sure what I'd do. Regardless, it's quite a fine eye to notice the wealth of pattern. Thanks for sharing.
I couldn't decide about the AC either, but in the end I left it because it is kind of like a backwards american flag with the rectangle in the upper corner...
Ahh, well in that case it's even more diabolically clever than I first realized. I therefore rescind my previous comment and applaud a very cool picture.
I think the metal panels and the contrasting color horizontals are the great parts of this image. I think cropping to remove the A/C and the little bit of door on the left (and maybe along the underside of the handrail) would do two things: 1) make the image a little more mysterious as the first reaction would be to figure out exactly what we're looking at; and 2) strengthen the design by emphasizing the most important elements.
